About this cookie policy

The policy describes the storage of data in the browser when using the miniserialy.org website. It complements the Privacy Policy and applies to the operation of the site itself, including the catalog, account, chat and player.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small values that your browser stores and sends to the site with requests. Local storage (localStorage) saves settings on your device without sending them automatically with every request. The web app cache provides an offline page when the network is unavailable. These technologies have different purposes and retention periods.

What the site stores

• Session and security. __Host-ms / ms. A session cookie is created for each visitor, including guests, to support sign-in, access checks and request security. It lasts up to 30 days from the creation or renewal of the session. It contains a random identifier rather than your password. In production it is sent over HTTPS and cannot be read by JavaScript; local development uses a different name.
• Settings. ms-*, ms-content-language:*. Local storage remembers your interface language, provider and content language, menu, notification and chat settings, and whether the next episode starts automatically. These records remain until you change the setting or clear the site data in your browser.
• Viewing and player settings. mini-serialy:player:v2:*. Your viewing position, player settings and comments within the player are stored locally until you clear the relevant data or browser storage. Favorites and viewing history for signed-in users may also be synchronized with their account on the server.
• Dismissing the notice. ms-cookie-notice. Clicking “Got it” saves the notice version locally so it is not shown again. This record remains until you clear the site data or the notice version changes. The button acknowledges the information and does not enable advertising or tracking.
• Offline page. mini-shell-v1. The web app cache contains an offline page. You can clear it in your browser settings, and the app replaces an old cache when its version changes. This cache does not store API responses, personal account data, playlists or paid video.
• The ms-analytics-consent entry in localStorage stores your choice and its date for up to 180 days. When permitted, Google and Yandex can set analytics cookies such as _ga and _ym_uid. Their durations depend on the providers’ settings; the choice is requested again after 180 days. Browser settings can also delete these cookies.

Third party services

With your permission, the site uses Yandex Metrica and Google Analytics to measure visits, navigation, video starts and completed episodes. These services receive technical browser and device information, an IP address and analytics identifiers. Session replay, advertising personalization, form capture and automatic outbound link tracking are disabled in this integration. The site does not send account details, chat messages, search text, payment data or signed media addresses to analytics. Delivery and protection services, such as Cloudflare, may use technical cookies. External websites have their own policies.

Managing stored data

Your browser privacy settings let you view, block or delete cookies, local storage and the cache for this site. Clearing them may sign you out and reset local settings and progress. This alone does not delete your account or server data: use your profile controls or contact support for that. Blocking the session cookie may affect sign-in, subscription access and synchronization.

Analytics scripts are loaded only after you select Allow analytics. Only necessary keeps analytics off. You can change or withdraw permission using Analytics settings in the site footer. Withdrawal removes this site’s analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop the analytics scripts; it does not erase data previously received by the services. Continuing to browse or closing the old cookie notice does not grant permission.

Policy Changes

When we change the way we store data, we will update this page and the revision date. A new version of the notification may appear again. The storage period for cookies of third-party services is determined by their settings and policies.
